A few words

About Dr. Willie Wright

Willie Wright like many young boys had “hoop dreams!”  He slept, eat, and drank basketball. However, these dreams didn’t amount to much, so he decided to pursue Computer Programming at the end of his senior year in high school and God replaced them with His dreams and plan for his life. As he was pursuing a new path, Another was pursuing him.  Willie wasn’t a Christian all his life, but always was interested in “salvation” as taught by his grandmother.  At the time, lonely for companionship, God answered the longing of his heart in two ways.  In answer to a prayer, God introduced to him the next day a Christian young women, who eventually became his wife.  She in turn introduced him to Jesus. Today, he is the pastor of the Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church in Stamford, Connecticut and president of Prophecy Plus.  He hosts a weekly livestream Bible study and devotional on Facebook and YouTube. Pastor Willie Wright is an energetic speaker with exceptional ability to communicate not only to church-oriented people but also to those who aren’t religious. His spontaneous, down-to-earth approach to living the Christian life engages and brings hope and meaning to hearts from every kind of background. Willie and his wife Sylvia have five children and six grandchildren. Currently, they are living in Getzville,  New York his hobbies include reading, physical fitness, and basketball.  He is completing two books entitled, “When Michael Stands Up!” and “Covid Caught me!”
